WS-2036-12 Parking exemption new (blue zone) with eID (eIDAS)

Important information

You need a parking disc to park in the blue zone. If you live in a blue zone or your company is located there, you can apply for a parking exemption. The following parking disc zones have been established in the municipality of Wassenaar:

1. The center (from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., a maximum of 2 hours).
2. On the Storm of 's-Gravesandeweg and surroundings (from Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., max. 2 hours). Note: On the Storm van 's-Gravensandeweg, an exemption can be applied for for several (people) vehicles.

Cost: € 17,90 (2024), the payment is made online at the end of this form.

Good to know:

  • The applicant must be registered in the Municipal Basic Administration at the address located in the blue zone area.
  • Exemptions are issued for a period of three years.
The following conditions apply for obtaining an exemption:
  • You can not have your own parking space (in the form of a driveway with / without garage or carport, a parking box, etc.).
  • An exemption is only granted for a (person) vehicle intended for personal use.
  • Only one exemption is granted per residential unit with an independent (residential) address.
For better and faster examination of the exemption, the municpality requires at least:
  • From which date you want the exemption to take effect.
  • The exemption is tied to the license plate number. You either need a registration certificate or a registered lease contract. You will be asked to add this as an attachment.
The following restrictions apply:

The exemption may not be used in the following areas:

  • The Luifelbaan (including parking garage).
  • Parking areas Den Hoek (including parking basement).
  • Schelpsloot, on the part of the parking disc zone for which a maximum parking duration of ½ hour has been set.
  • The part of the Achterweg, the Van Hogendorpstraat and the Garden Path that has been designated as "yard"(erf).

Note: Only residents can request a resident's exemption for a vehicle that they use themselves. The exemption is issued on the registration number of the vehicle concerned.
